Roads and Infrastructure Design

The project involved road widening and infrastructure improvements within Saadiyat Island’s Cultural District Package 1E, covering approximately 3.9 km of roads. The scope included multidisciplinary infrastructure design, utility coordination, BIM modelling, authority approvals, and site supervision to improve road capacity, accessibility, and overall infrastructure performance.

Scope of Work

• Detailed road design and widening from single-lane to dual-lane carriageways in each direction.
• Design of street lighting, stormwater drainage, ground improvement, and landscaping.
• Relocation, protection, and coordination of existing wet and dry utilities.
• Development of coordinated BIM models to LOD 300.
• Preparation and submission of technical drawings and documentation.
• Coordination and procurement of NOCs and approvals from relevant authorities, including Town Planning, ITC, and MCC.
• Site supervision and monitoring of construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and project specifications.
