Architect of Record Services – Yas Bay, Abu Dhabi

The project involves providing Architect of Record services to support Yas Asset Management in securing ADCD approvals for engineering works at Yas Bay. The assignment covers the review of project requirements, preparation and coordination of MEP and life-safety engineering drawings, authority submission management, and resolution of authority comments. It also includes coordination with a local main contractor representative for documentation purposes, periodic site inspections based on contractor RFIs, and preparation and signing of relevant submission documents.

Scope of Work

• Review project requirements, existing documentation, and architectural interfaces.
• Prepare detailed MEP, fire alarm, firefighting, access control, and associated engineering design drawings.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering designs with the project team, contractor, and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, design reports, and compliance checklists.
• Submit engineering drawings and supporting documents to ADCD for approval.
• Review and incorporate ADCD comments and manage resubmissions as required.
• Coordinate with a local main contractor representative for documentation and submission purposes.
• Conduct periodic site inspections in response to contractor RFIs.
• Review and sign relevant documents required for authority submissions, within the agreed scope.
• Attend coordination meetings and site visits as required by ADCD.
• Follow up on authority approvals and obtain the final ADCD NOC.
• Prepare a mock-up submission with the associated MSRA documentation, as required by the tender.
